During a special meeting on April 5, 2010, the Board of Directors adopted 2 addendums to the Bay Colony Phase II Rules and Regulations. After the Homeowners meeting, the Board had a directors meeting to discuss these addendums, and added them to the Rules and Regulations, The first passes 5 to 1 in favor of, the second passed 5 to 0, with 1 abstaining.
1. Any petitions, and/or proxies signed by a Homeowner/member submitted to the Board of Directors for whatever reason or purpose, must be supported by a copy of Homeowner's/member's verification of the authenticity of the signature appearing on the petition and/or proxy.(ie, drivers license, state ID or other picture ID with affixed signture)
2. Any Homeowner/Member running for the Board of Directors, must be in good stadning for at least twelve(12) months prior to being seated as a director
Please add these addendums to your rules and regulations.

well, see the above the letter I got from my association. This is the most ridiculous and ambitious rules that I have never seen. First, how these directors can ask give personal identification info to file petition. It will violate personal information release violation action. I wonder what authority they have to place this rule. Second, what does mean "Good Standing"? does it mean financial or ethical or emotional? Do they have stand definition of "Good Standing"? all of these rules are very questionable items? Let me know how you think about it.
